But Obama has acclerated the decline even though he promised to cut the debt, not merely the deficient, in half his first term. Our nation is in a state of peril and Hillary isn't the answer, not even close. Obama offered hope and change, didn't deliver, but offered. What's Hillary going to offer, business as usual in Washington politics. After all she been a fixture in washington politics all along. Looking to Hillary for some kind of change in direction would be like looking to Newt or Boner for change.

Not true that it started under Bush.

It actually started under Kennedy. That is when the exodus of jobs started, and in some cases was encouraged by our system.
It has been a steady decline since then no matter which party was in control. Johnson (Demo)- Nixon (repub), Vietnam. A steady drain on our economy, along with our nations overall balance and well being.
Carter (demo) nice guy, just in way over his head.
Regan (repub) did a lot of good things for the economy, but is solely responsible for deregulation of the banking industry, which lead to the savings and loan debacle, and helped to bring us to the melt down of the big banks in '08.
Clinton (dem) responsible for forcing banks to loan money to people for houses they did not have a prayer of being able to afford. Then forced Fanniemae, and Freddiemac to underwrite said loans making you and I (the taxpayer) ultimately responsible for them.
Bush (repub)spent money like a drunken sailor. 2 wars that were a huge drain on the economy.
Obummer, (socialist) has spent more money (so far) than any other person in history. Increased government spending to record levels that simply CANNOT be sustained. And now is dismanteling the best health care system in the world.
It is also worth nothing that Regan, Clinton Bush, and now Obama have all worked towards the goal of globalization of the economy, which in effect removes jobs from our economy, and distributes them around the world .Neither of the major parties have the working mans best interest at heart!!

There is no simple easy answer to this problem.
However the answer starts with everyone having to pay a little more, and get a little less until we get our debt paid down. But first and foremost it MUST start with term limits on all elected officals, and getting government pensions under control.

Yes it is too late for 180*! A tangent is the best we can hope for. Political correctness continues to run rampant; bullying in football?! And we WILL legalize our extraterrestrial brethren mexicans. So don't hold your breath for the good old days.

We are very close to the time it becomes to late. If we with one piece of legislation put another 10 or 15 million on the government programs, if we do not get our tax structures under control. If we do not pursue good paying middleclass jobs and get them back to the United States...
I personally do not believe it is to late. IF the "silent majority" will get off their duffs and get involved!

Hillary Clinton Bans Press From San Francisco Events,
Press looking to cover Hillary Clinton’s two appearances in San Francisco this week are out of luck -- the potential 2016 presidential nominee has barred the media from officially covering the events, a move that is unlikely to fly in the country’s most liberal major city and social media hub.

The Huffington Post received the following reply to requests for coverage of both her speech at the National Association of Realtors conference this week and from her Clinton Foundation “Millennial Network” fundraiser event this weekend.

When former President Clinton this week critiqued President Obama's broken promise that Americans would be able to keep their health insurance plans under the Affordable Care Act, Clinton was also knocking a similar plan once proposed by another politician: his wife.

"I personally believe, even if it takes a change in the law, the president should honor the commitment that the federal government made to those people and let them keep what they got," Clinton said in an interview with OZY.

When she was last a candidate for president in 2007, Hillary Clinton unveiled her own health care proposal, which, like Obamacare, included beefed-up benefits and a catchy pitch: "If you have a plan you like, you keep it." Obama went on to defeat Clinton, but he adopted her tag line to help win support for his own health care plan -- making the same promise, for which he recently apologized.

"You can keep the doctors you know and trust. You keep the insurance you have," Clinton said on Sept. 17, 2007, at the Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. "If you have private insurance you like, nothing changes — you can keep that insurance."

Clinton's campaign website echoed that claim. "If you have a plan you like, you keep it," it read.

'If you have a plan you like, you keep it'

Clinton Woos Black Vote, Targets Obama

Far from conceding African-American support to the most credible candidate ever of African descent, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., the Clintons are pushing aggressively for the help of their longtime allies in the black business, political and entertainment elite. Clinton's supporters say she intends to make the Illinois senator fight for every black endorsement and every black vote. It's a strategy that pushes Obama to decide just how black he can afford to be: Will he pitch himself to African-American voters as the black candidate, or hew to the post-racial line that's helped make him sensationally popular with white Democrats?
"He's not built to be the black candidate,"

Eye on 2016, Clintons Rebuild Bond With Blacks

Since Mrs. Clinton left the secretary of state post in February, she and her husband have sought to soothe and strengthen their relationship with African-Americans, the constituency that was most scarred during her first bid for the presidency. Five years after remarks by Mr. Clinton about Barack Obama deeply strained the Clintons’ bond with African-Americans, the former first family is setting out to ensure that there is no replay of such trouble in 2016.

Of the tensions of 2008, the former governor said all was forgiven: “I don’t think anybody is looking back. If Hillary runs for the nomination,
she gets it. Period.”

It seems Wall Street has found its candidate, not surprising given that Bill Clinton did more to deregulate Wall Street ...................

bankers and their guests filed into a large room and turned their eyes to Hillary Clinton.

Ordinarily these masters of the universe might have groaned at the idea of a politician taking the microphone…

But Clinton offered a message that the collected plutocrats found reassuring, according to accounts offered by several attendees, declaring that the banker-bashing so popular within both political parties was unproductive and indeed foolish.

http://www.politico.com/magazi...ts-101047.html?hp=t1

It was Bill after all who pushed for breaking Glass-Steagall and fired his own CFTC Commissioner, Brooksley Born, to help ensure derivatives were not regulated. The 2008 financial crisis could appropriately be called the Clinton Crash.

Not surprisingly Clinton’s point man on deregulating Wall Street was a former CEO of Goldman Sachs, Robert Rubin.

And now Hillary is signaling a return to the good old days for Wall Street after taking $400,000 of their money. Can we afford a second Clinton Crash?

Krauthammer: Hillary 'Weak' Opponent for GOP in 2016

Hillary Clinton will have an easy walk to the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, but won't pose a significant threat to Republicans in the general election, says Charles Krauthammer.

"The status she enjoys among Democrats is semi-divine," the conservative pundit said Thursday on Fox News Channel's "Special Report." "It's not going to be a coronation, it's going to be a worship service."

That will last about six months, Krauthammer predicted, as Clinton will face no serious challengers. There might be "noise" from the left, he said, but it won't be significant.

"I don't see any impediment on the way to her nomination," Krauthammer said, but predicted Clinton will "be a relatively weak opponent" and Republicans will have "a really good shot at the White House."
