We went thru the shooting of a congresswoman on American soil and the clueless righties say nothing. Four of our foreign service people are killed in a dangerous country and the right wants to impeach. The right seems to believe we should provide foolproof security for all employees abroad and say and do NOTHING when one is shot in the head here. In fact they say " our guns are being threatened" instead of how do we prevent this. So I'll work with you if you call out the stupidity on the other side.

What would you like done about the guy who shot the congresswoman and others that day? The last I heard he was basically locked up for life because he is nuts. Seems like all that could be done, was.
The event with our ambassador/embassy was, by all appearances, an intelligence/administration cluster fuc.
In my opinion, neither incident would have been prevented, nor severity lessened, by disarming law abiding U.S. citizens. Quit the opposite, more firepower in hand may have gave all victims involved, at the very least, a fighting chance.

The common/career bad guys don't buy, register or use firearms in a legal manner. What control is there that would work against them?

And people should be careful about eliminating or controlling the ownership of things that kill people. Medicines, foods and automobiles are pretty close to the top of that list I believe.

Attorney General Eric Holder, has already said this is one of his major issues. He does not believe the 2nd Amendment gives individuals the right to bear arms. This takes literally 2 clicks to complete. Please vote on this gun issue question with USA Today. Then pass the link on to all the pro-gun folks you know. Just for your information Snopes has a very liberal left lean to it. I would not be surprised if they claimed the UN small arms treaty was False. I have seen some things on Snopes that tells me they are not always right.
