No, I don't approve of affirmative action, but I figure it's here to stay as the programs are mostly administered by minority people of some flavor. And there are so many minorities in the legislative branches of state governments that I do not figure they will vote it out.

One thing, if it is true, I understand that Florida did away with it's affirmative action program and replaced it with some other program (that is more than likely the same thing) under JEB.

Perhaps one from Florida could enlighten one from Texas about this programs.

He was real big on Education Reform here and felt a student should be prepared academically for college.
He focused on preparing each kid for college from the time they started school.

He also did away with affirmative action in
government employment and state contracting too.
