According to your previous analogy Florida will be uninhabitable once air-conditioning is no longer available?
When cap-an-tax is imposed and the sole sources of electricity are solar and wind the alligators and penquins will once again have their way in FLA.............

LONDON – A team of British explorers says that within a decade the North Pole will be virtually ice-free during the summer.

The Catlin Arctic Survey trekked an average of about 11 kilometers (six miles) per day and swam in freezing water to take measurements of the ice and snow.

Measurements during the three month research project showed that most of the ice is first year ice that measures about 1.8 meters (six feet) thick. Peter Wadhams with the University of Cambridge said Wednesday the ice is too thin to survive next summer's ice melt.

The results come ahead of the UN climate Summit in Copenhagen this December.

Isn't this the same bunch of nitwits that almost died last spring wandering around up there? This survey has no credibility unless it was the same route that has been followed in the past. Picking and choosing the route to validate your agenda is not a real picture of the entire situation!!

WASHINGTON – A controversial e-mail message buried by the Bush administration because of its conclusions on global warming surfaced Tuesday, nearly two years after it was first sent to the White House and never opened.

The e-mail and the 28-page document attached to it, released Tuesday by the Environmental Protection Agency, show that back in December of 2007 the agency concluded that six gases linked to global warming pose dangers to public welfare, and wanted to take steps to regulate their release from automobiles and the burning of gasoline.

The document specifically cites global warming's effects on air quality, agriculture, forestry, water resources and coastal areas as endangering public welfare.

That finding was rejected by the Bush White House, which strongly opposed using the Clean Air Act to address climate change and stalled on producing a so-called "endangerment finding" that had been ordered by the Supreme Court in 2007.

As a result, the Dec. 5 e-mail sent by the agency to Susan Dudley, who headed the regulatory division at the Office of Management and Budget was never opened, according to Jason Burnett, the former EPA official that wrote it.

The Bush administration, and then EPA administrator Stephen Johnson, also refused to release the document, which is labeled "deliberative, do not distribute" to Democratic lawmakers. The White House instead allowed three senators to review it in July 2008, when excerpts were released.

The Obama administration in April made a similar determination, but also concluded that greenhouse gases endanger public health. The EPA is currently drafting the first greenhouse gas standards for automobiles, and recently signaled it would attempt to reduce climate-altering pollution from refineries, factories and other large industrial sources.

Bob, Jason Burnett is a "Warmer", he has an agenda so is biased just like the head of the EPA is now. I doubt any objective material would come from him or the EPA as long as obama is presidunce.

algore has raked in millions of dollars with his man-made global warming scam/hoax.
Like most compassionate leftists he is only willing to spend other peoples money. He just layed off a bunch of people from his media company rather that spend some of his ill-gotten gains to keep them working as he insists real employers do!
algore drew 800 paying attendees at his big soiree in Boca, wonder if "wonder boy" had enough faith in 'ole al to pay to see him?
Governor Palin drew 4,000 paying attendees in Milwaukee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two Environmental Protection Agency lawyers who made a YouTube video calling current climate legislation a "huge mistake" were told by the agency to remove the clip and edit out some references to their employer, one of them said.

Even the left-wing politically motivated supposed climatologists have now had to admit, in the face of overwhelming evidence, that there has been NO GLOBAL WARMING in the last ten (10) years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They've known this for some time and have been trying to manipulate data, why does one suppose they began calling it "climate change" rather than global warming???????????

SYDNEY (AFP) – More than 100, and possibly hundreds, of Antarctic icebergs are floating towards New Zealand in a rare event which has prompted a shipping warning, officials said on Monday.

An Australian Antarctic Division glaciologist said the ice chunks, spotted by satellite photography, had passed the Auckland Islands and were heading towards the main South Island, about 450 kilometres (280 miles) northeast.

Scientist Neal Young said more than 100 icebergs -- some measuring more than 200 metres (650 feet) across -- were seen in just one cluster, indicating there could be hundreds more.

He said they were the remains of a massive ice floe which split from the Antarctic as sea and air temperatures rise due to global warming.
