Bill, you never did answer my question a LONG time back!!! I asked you, if a person such as Al Gore is preaching global fitness, whether you believe the scientific evidence or not, what is wrong with it? Even though scientific evidence does prove most all of the stats, what in the world is wrong with recycling, preserving power, cleaning up the environment and saving money? Jeremy, there probably isnt a person on this board that doesnt want to conserve all the things you've said. The problem that most of us have is the political parties using this to raise money as the are now. Example, my water district says we are in a drought and everyone should cut back 10%. Ok, so I do my duty and cut back 10% or more along with a few other people. Now next yeat they say that we will mandatory 10% reduction and anyone who doesnt will extra for the extra water. So here I am in a bind because I did cut back and now its really 20% or more for me but the people who didnt cut back reduce their water use 10% no problem But I who did from the start get to pay and the water district is happy because they get more money without selling anymore water.

Another example of buying votes. The democrats vote to start bring troops home on Oct 1st. Great, love to see the troops coming home but why are waiting till 30 days before the election? Come on as I've said before, they dont give a shyt. Its all about money and votes.

Just read a story in the Financial Times from Canada where a REAL scientist conducting REAL scientific experiments has determined that there will be substantial GLOBAL COOLING by the year 2020!
He has corroborated the sun's changing temperatures and the affect this has on cloud cover which magnifies the temperature variations!
Can algore and his goofy disciples make a 180, they already turned on a dime once in the 1980's when they went from global cooling to manmade global warming virtully overnight!
Does this mean we'll have to build SUV's that get 2 1/2 MPG, bring back freon and take all the filters off of smoke stacks???????????

The "REAL SCIENTISTS" are conducting experiments to determine "WHY" temperatures have fluctuated over the centuries! The scientist in Denmark who discovered that variations in the suns temperature effect the amount of cloud cover and multiply the effect of the suns variations has the anti-capitalist greenies in a panic! As the days go by more and more "REAL SCIENTISTS" are adding proof to this theory!
