"The two sides expect to finalize the implementation plan soon." Augusta Warrior Project Gpa

‘Sham’? DOJ under fire amid claims IRS probe unlikely to yield criminal charges The Justice Department is facing mounting criticism after officials said they've turned up no evidence that would warrant criminal charges in the IRS targeting scandal, with conservatives now calling the investigation a "sham." Officials said earlier this week that, while the FBI investigation into IRS targeting of Tea Party and other groups is still ongoing, criminal charges are not expected at this point. Jenny Beth Martin, the co-founder of the Tea Party Patriots, called the news "absolutely outrageous." Augusta Warrior Project Gpa

Cast of 'American Hustle' take SAG's top film awards The SAG Awards are widely considered to be the best indicators of what to expect from the heaviest hitter of the awards season, the Oscars. In the best supporting actress in a film category alone, the last four out of five SAG winners went on to take the Academy Award. So who nabbed that honor this time (and might just go on to take the Oscar in the near future)? He is an actor's director Augusta Warrior Project Gpa

US eases sanctions after Iran begins to shut down nuclear development The White House says the U.S. will begin easing economic sanctions on Iran after Tehran began shutting down its most sensitive nuclear work Monday. Iran's move was part of a landmark deal struck with world powers to allay concerns over its nuclear program and begin a partial removal of sanctions that have stifled the country's economy. White House spokesman Jay Carney added in a statement that Washington will continue to aggressively enforce sanctions that will remain in effect. The six-month agreement is designed to give negotiators breathing space in the hopes that a permanent deal can be reached. EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton told Reuters that she was hopeful that a new round of negotiations would begin "within the next few weeks." Since the deal was announced late last year, the Obama administration has fought hard against the prospect of additional sanctions legislation passing the Senate. Last Sunday, President Obama threatened to veto any such bill, which its proponents claim would keep the pressure on Iran to adhere to the terms of the deal. LINK Augusta Warrior Project Gpa

Kerry rules out al-Assad (CNN) -- A preliminary session of Syrian peace talks meant to end three years of bloodshed was an important "first, small step," U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said Wednesday after a morning of bitter exchanges from both sides. Speaking to reporters after the first leg of talks, Ban said a "difficult road" lies ahead but the time had come for negotiations. "We did not expect instant breakthroughs from today's conference, but the seriousness and horror of the situation has focused all minds, and there is a determination that all parties will find a way to peace," he said. "We have a difficult road ahead, but it can be done and it must be done. It's not too late to end the bloodshed." Syria earlier had struck a defiant tone, laying a record of atrocities -- rape, arson, even the destruction of Syrian culture itself -- at the feet of rebels and chiding outsiders for trying to interfere. Al-Assad also said no political solution could be reached without the agreement of the Syrian people and "first and foremost the complete cessation of terrorism" and its support by other countries, the news agency said. WATKINSVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Seeking promotion to the U.S. Senate, Republican Rep. Jack Kingston avoids an explicit yes-or-no answer when asked by a voter if he considers himself a tea party candidate. Instead, the 11-term congressman offers the lunch crowd at a northeast Georgia community center a careful plea for a unified party that can sell limited-government arguments to a wider audience. Kingston doesn't mention any of his seven primary opponents. But the subtext is obvious in a field that includes Kingston's House colleagues Paul Broun and Phil Gingrey. Broun, a physician, has called evolutionary theory "lies from the pit of Hell," and he's sponsoring a drawing to give one of his supporters a free AR-15 semi-automatic rifle. Gingrey, an obstetrician, once defended failed 2012 Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin's controversial comments about "legitimate rape" and abortion. It's a free-for-all that highlights the GOP's internal struggle between archconservatives and the business establishment. Some Republicans worry that Democrats could score an upset victory in Georgia's Senate race in November, as they did in a handful of recent Senate and governor's races, if moderate voters find the Republican nominee too extreme. "It's a microcosm of what we're fighting over nationally," said Kirk Shook, GOP chairman in Oglethorpe County, about 80 miles east of Atlanta. "It's a huge concern for people I talk to around the state, that Georgia could become another Missouri or Indiana. ... I don't want to call any names, but we all know who I'm talking about." Looks like the repo establishment wants to distance themselves from the Tea Party Clowns who displays "Too Extreme Tactics". People like "Joe The Plummer" who clowns in these topics carry on their shoulders.

CAMBRIDGE, Md. — The House Republican leadership is trying to sell their colleagues on a series of broad immigration principles, including a path to legal status for those here illegally. Speaker John Boehner’s leadership team introduced the principles at their annual policy retreat here. Top Republicans circulated a tightly held one-page memo titled “standards for immigration reform” toward the tail-end of a day that include strategy conversations about Obamacare, the economy and the national debt. “Nancy Pelosi said yesterday that for her caucus, it is a special path to citizenship or nothing,” Boehner said, according to a source in the room. “If Democrats insist on that, then we are not going to get anywhere this year.” House leaders sell immigration blueprint Augusta Warrior Project Gpa
