What, you mean the picture link finally worked, lol I managed to go three rounds with two broken transmissions at the Nat's. It doesn't like the tire shake at the National event. At the divisional it went ride down broadway on every pass. To bad i got treed first round. Eyes I did manage to run a 6.59@205

Mo, what tire are you on? What pressure? Beadlocks? What are your sixties?

We have had a lot of shake on a hot sticky track. Goodyear 1022's on beadlocks. Tried all kinds of pressure. Good for a few laps then bam more shake.

For the mile highs we switched to a Mickey 3190W 34.0/13.5-16W. Worked fine. Less section width and no shake. We did lose a couple of hundreth's et and mph. But the car was very consistent. Running 6.61 @ 204 at the mile high's. At the Denver Divisional we were at 6.54 @ 208. Only difference was the tire. Just doesn't grow like the 1022. But at least it doesn't shake. The air really sucked on third qualifying session but it was our fastest run.

559 Steve Johnson, Arvada CO, Bos-Chevy 6.615 204.11 204.11

Weather conditions: air temperature 87 degrees, relative humidity 35 percent, barometer 24.20 inches, adjusted altitude 9,701 feet, track temperature 105 degrees.

Paul sorry for the confusion. I got treed first round at the divisional and went three round at the nationals. Denny I am running the 17x34.5x16 Hoosiers without bead locks. Normally run 4.5# I try to keep the 60ft in the 1.03 range,it has gone .980 but that's to aggressive for the car. My car at the divisional was 6.59-6.61@205 and at the national it was 6.65-6.68@203 when it made it down the track. bump

Not bad at all. Car was consistent and stable. We are on beadlocks so I don't know if that would make any difference. Here are the three qualifying runs. Just eliminating the shake was what we were looking for most of all. Like I said above we did lose a little et and mph do to not having the growth that the 1022 had.

q1 6.634 202.67
q2 6.616 203.12
q3 6.615 204.11

The car is a 265" Mike Bos car. Weighs 2080 with driver.

Cool. I just switched them last night, going to try them this weekend. The gearing should be a lot better for me with that tire so im hoping to pick up some et over the 3186's

Thanks for the info.

Just for a place to start, what kind of pressure should we be running?
