As some of you know I’d ask a few months ago what you thought was to long to wait on a carb you ordered. After a long wait and giving TRC (Craig Serra ) plenty of time to refund my money I’m doing exactly what I told him I’d do if I didn’t get my money back and expose him as the thief he is. Just trying to keep this from happening to anyone else.

On May 16 I contacted Craig Serra about a twin blade carb. After talking with Craig I ordered a 1200 twin blade carb from them with a price of $1976.00 and was told 3 weeks I’d have the carb. After calling TRC ( total racing components) and talking to Craig Serra the owner of TRC many times over the next 12 weeks I canceled my order with them in August. Because I trusted what I read on Facebook I let him take the whole amount for the carb and now it’s November and I still haven’t received any money back from them. Every time I talked to him I got excuses of being busy, can’t get parts, or I’m working on it and getting ready to ship out. I ordered the same carb from another company and received in less than 2 weeks. My Credit union has filled charges against his account to get my money back

Beware or TRC carbs as he will take your money and not deliver what you pay for. In sense he stole $1976.00 from me and I’ve found other people he has done the same to. I have proof of everything I state here including Facebook messages to and from him. DO NOT GIVE THIS SCUM BAG YOUR MONEY.

I had dealings with his dad Charlie Serra over 30 years ago when they were out side of Atlanta.
Never had any trouble,he was very sharp on carb work.

Obviously this isn't the dad so that has no bearing on the OP getting his money back.

So other than the paying up front, not getting the product and not getting the money back for months now, it sounds like a pretty good transaction?

That is terrible and real frustrating, but I think its worse when you get your stuff in a timely fashion and the quality of work is horrid.I went through that with nickerson carbs. That dean nickerson screwed me.Quick fuel called him a butcher.Either way your always gambling when you deal with businesses that are a distance away.

So I was just about to send a carb off to Dean to be converted to alky. When I spoke with him I was impressed with the fact he was interested in setting up the complete system. I didn't get that level of interest or concern from a couple of other people I have spoken with.

Who are the most respected people to convert a carb to alky? I don't want to spend next year chasing my tail with a junk carb or system.

Id vote for Mark Whitener, helped me out with a 1095 3 circuit Demon and didn't have to pay him a dime.
Just answered my questions and had a few suggestions no problems.

maybe he is good with basic stuff but mine was a dual carb all aluminum 665 making 1440...after his carb mods I tourched 2 pistons and burnt up a head.
I wish he took my money and never sent me the carbs...would have been cheaper!!
