My comments following that announcement were/are clearly my opinion regarding the NHRA pulling the plug on the season and still a very real possibilty.

BTW, John Force Racing is STILL parked for the season. NahNahTounge

NHRA will pull the plug on the season before the end of July and quite possibly after this weekend. They have no choice, they are a major corporation with a board of directors and sponsors. They will do what is politically and socially correct. The fact that Force has parked his teams for the season due to losing major sponsors on at least 2 cars, only makes the decision for the NHRA board easier.

and again, 24 days since I broke the news here that John Force Racing has parked his operation for the season and despite the hopes and dreams from some losers here that I was wrong, John Force Racing has missed 2 national events, soon to be 3 and is STILL parked for the season! Laughing very hard Dancing Cat

Now what part of the TRUTH and the FACTS don't you like?

Is it that John Force has parked his teams for the rest of the season?

or is it that the NHRA is going to pull the plug on the rest of this season?

or is it that 1320racer was right again? Laughing very hard

my post on page 9, 2 days after my post on page 5, the first time I mentioned the NHRA pulling the plug on the season, I pose the question...

No, "if" he's parked for the season. Now the only question that remains to be answered is does the NHRA continue the season without him or pull the plug. I say they are pulling the plug. If not after this weekend, then after next and I mean pulling the plug for all, pros and sportsmen.

NHRA...

Just put on a mask

Just kneel for the National Anthem

Just put on a Black Lives Matter T - Shirt

Just make donations to fund Black lives Matter- ANTIFA.

Just endorse social distancing

Just tell everyone to take the Operation Warp Speed injection the military is delivering.

Come on NHRA

Just get with the program-ming.

Heard a rumor yesterday that LA County won’t let NHRA have the World Finals at Pomona so they’re talking about having the Vegas National, a double divisional and the World Finals all at Vegas. Like I said it’s a rumor unless someone on here has heard for sure.

Ed,
Why do you even bother posting on here? Nobody seems to like you and you never have a cordial dialogue with anybody. Are you a masochist? Do you like to be picked on? Didn't think of that

Hey Smokin Chicken,
I use pecan and smoke chicken thighs on a regular basis. What do you use?

Cherry, Apple, or Peach depending on what I feel like. I throw a small amount of hickory also.

I should get more hickory. I had some and tried it and really liked it. I have a neighbor that has a tree business and he keeps me supplied with pecan. He cuts them into biscuits which are perfect. We don't have a lot of hickory out here.

Cashflow, I have heard the same rumor from a very reliable source. I think that nhra will have their last 4 races at Vegas. Hopefully a double divisional between the 2 Nationals. Throw in THE FLING a week or 2 before and that would be WAY GREAT. Only thing NHRA might have trouble finding a banquet room in Vegas........NOT!

When everything is coming your way, your probably in the wrong lane.

I’d rather be in Vegas anyway Larry.
No such thing as masks and social distances in LA County. Unreal. Pretty sad.
How’s my TS buddy doing??
Hope all is well there.

Barry Vegas in under a mandatory mask order and has closed down all bars as well. Many of the casinos are in the middle of mass layoffs as well. From what I have heard and read that may not be changing anytime soon. Just like the kiddos not going back to school in the fall. Sisolak like to see what Cali does and then pretty much follows suit
