Just curious what to expect for power potential? I don't have any real specs yet as I haven't picked it up. I will be freshened up next week or 2 and will know more.

1000-1300hp

Without knowing any info, it's a complete crapshoot.

Here is what I know, 2 1150's, sheet metal TRE intake, all I know is 15-1 to 15.5-1 compression cam is over .900 lift, non oxygenated fuel etc.

I mean you couldn't miss that by a 300HP spread Roll Eyes

If done correctly 1200 isn't out of the question. I think a conservative figure is 1100-1125 on a more "mild" build.

Dyno numbers vary across the board. The scoreboards / timeslips rule.

As mentioned, depends on a lot of things. For reference, our 615 Dart 11* (untouched heads), Profiler intake, similar on compression and lift, with q15 fuel, one 1150 carb, made right at 1200.

Had Dart run their "D" program through them, went up to 16:1 compression and a cam to take advantage of the porting, and picked up 50 HP to be at 1250. This combo, with a Super Comp style converter (slow 1.03 60ft) at 1920 lbs has been 6.99 and almost 192 at 2000ft DA.

Based on what you said, if it doesn't make a minimum of 1200 I'd be disappointed (even on a tight dyno).

Well that's good news!

What is it going in? Weight? Curious.

Mine only made 1020 but it has conventional heads and less than .850 net lift. It’ll still run 8.90 at 180+ so it’s good enough for me considering the budget.

It will be in a Yancer dragster. I assume the weight will be in the 1870#'s with the driver.

My 632* 11 degree with Slawko ported heads made 1250 with a Book 1250 carb. It went 6.95 at 193 in decent air. In better air it would probably would have went 6.90 as it was going 4.40 @ 157 in July this year.

I have a 622 14 degree motor and the heads were done by Frankenstein. It made 1180 hp on the dyno. That is with an APD 1250 carb. Mine also has 15.5 to 1 comp and a 900 plus lift camshaft. It is a brodix aluminum block. I added a dry sump and now having Frankenstein doing an edelbrock intake for it. The dry sump helped it out a bunch. I’m sure now with the dry sump it is over 1200hp. I haven’t ran it at sea level. I have gone 4.58 at 151 in 3000 ft of air. Your 11 degree should easily make over 1200 hp.

I have a 632 14* motor too. I went 4.59@150 in Boise last year.

Assuming the heads are ported a well built 632 with those heads has the capability to make 1350 HP more or less with that compression and lift close to 1". Anything less than 1300 would be sub par IMO or the combo was just not built to utilize the full potential of those heads.

That would be ideal if it made 1300+. I will have more information when it gets here. Still waiting.

My 11deg 632 w/2 carbs ran 7.01 @ 195 in my doorcar. I never dyno it. It shows that it makes over 1300hp.

Is this in a dragster?

How much does your door car weigh and is it N/A?
