Valve spring removal tool w/ heads installed

I’m looking for a valve spring removal tool with heads installed to fit “Crower” shaft rockers on sbc. I contacted Crower, but they do not offer a tool.

Both Jesel and T&D have removal tools for shaft rockers with head installed, but I have no idea if compatable with Crower.

If you really want a nice tool check out Buxton Engineering they make some of the best on head spring testers and compressors.

Love my LSM tools. I have the spring compressor, torque wrench for lash and their on head pressure tester.

Buxton is just out of my budget but man they make nice stuff.

I have the same. Super nice stuff....works fantastic.

I have the LSM valve lash torque wrench and on head valve spring pressure tester as well. Never thought to look for a valve spring removal tool from them. I’m ordering the LSM SC-100 on head valve spring compressor for small blocks.

I have the LSM on-head valve spring removal tool & the valve lash torque wrench kit. I guess I need to get the valve spring tester!

I made this also. The black square with the gauge I bought from LSM, the rest except for the speed handle I made. Basically copied their bench tester. It's nice for setting up heads.

I like some of your machine work. That is one thing I would have liked to do have learned to do.

There is the pride of building as much of your car as possible. I enjoy making brackets, tools, parts etc for my cars, planes, tractor and stuff but have do not have a full machine shop. My school did not have a machine shop class or I definitely would have taken it. My latest project I am building and learning to paint a plane, got it cheap and it was sturdy but ugly. Should turn out nice. Now that I am retired that is what I do build stuff. Enjoyed building cars that did not run or handle good into Championship winning cars. That blue altered I had was evil, it would take off and start looking for a guardrail to take out. I fixed the handling issues and turned it into a winning car that was fun to drive.
We put a lot of time, work, money and pride in our hobbies. You have posted several things through the years you machined that was nice, your work has paid off and your winning record reflects that.

The Buxton valve spring pressure tester is the best on the market as far as accuracy, the LSM is a good spring tester to see if you have a spring that is weaker than the others but accuracy is not great. Now saying all this I do use all LSM stuff because I had it before I found out about Buxton if I had nothing the Buxton would be where I would spend my money. JMO
