Adding some carbon fiber door bar covers , what is the best way to trim them and do you need to cover yourself up to keep from getting the stuff on you airborne???

Good scissors. Same way we cut carbon sheets. Door protectors are a bit harder but can be done easily that way. Then use some sandpaper to round the cut corners and clean it up. Install with a dab of silicone.
