Drivers are picking up the parts as of today - will have it back together tonight and be racing tomorrow night for some testing and redialing in of items....then points Saturday.

Logging, and other items I will look into.

Appeciate the help.

The converter was from 2004! It probably only had about 3500 passes on it. Carl has checked it before and when I asked him about freshening he always said dont fix what isnt broken - the converter also was SUPER consistent and slip % were unheard of...so I was always afraid to touch it.
Guess I cant complain - unfortunately it took out the trans in the process.

I upgraded to ringless shaft and some other billet stuff while Carl had it apart to support the new motor. Snowball effect.

Don't forget to flush your cooler. If you mentioned that I missed it.

Cool, I bet it runs better. Torque converter technology has come a long way since 2004, spragless I'm sure.

If you're going ringless input that means you're gonna need a pump too. Although if your pump looks good they'll incorporate a T400 stator tube in it, in order to make it happen.

Keep us posted Good Luck!

Car gained a bunch of MPH. Usually around 152-153.

About fell over when it went 159 first run. KNew it was flying because it tripped the rev limiter.

Made some small adjustments and it went 158.XX and repeated well.

Not bad for a car that weighs 3330lbs
