Dave, how would bead locks stop leaking sidewalls? ____________________________ 2017 and 2018 Osage Casinos Tulsa Raceway Park No-Box Champion 2018 Div4 Goodguys Hammer award winner

a little update to this . all leakage seemed @ bead . Ok steelies leaked when fitted dry . Soaped tyres , dry bead , leaked . Refitted and glued bead - leaked . OK not so good as these were going flat almost as you watched . Maybe its more the rim ? Got out his Centreline Autodrags . Glued rim as per how I fit radials , have run radials on these rims , aired up to 30 psi . No /minimal air loss , maybe 1 lb overnight . Mate does not want to drill these rims , plus drill valve hole if tubes fitted . See how they go we are racing on 10-11 January . Tex

Did you clean the rims before inflating? Never had bead leakage if the rims and the tire bead were cleaned thoroughly.
