While I've done a pretty good job of not running over 150 mph. Most of the time I keep it around the low 130 mph range. I have slipped up a couple times, got close at 149 something; I did go 152 mph ripping the throttle late in the run. Anyway, I bought a parachute & mounting kit from Motion Raceworks. It's getting installed in early June & is well overdue, mainly for safety reasons. Also, I have to get a neck restraint system, looking at the Hans. The plan is to still keep the mph under 150 mph; it works with my strategy of racing. ![]() 2BKING ![]() ![]() 1980 Camaro Taking the Best Working Small Tire Shyt Box & making it Greater Than Before! 3000 lbs. I tried several brands and in my car the only one I could use was the Necksgen. The others I had to put helmet and head and next restraint on BEFORE I got in the car. That made it difficult to get belts etc on and really stunk when you have a long wait to run. Really think some of those that come down lower on your chest may give you more support in a crash too much of a pain in the tail to get on and in car. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge. Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue. 4X NE2 CHAMPION. 2020 TDRA NE2 Champion

Another vote for simpson hybrid. I can race over my shoulder more with it than the other brands, plus, With the Hybrid, its much easier to learn how to do it by yourself. Jeremiah Hall

I like my Nexgen. It takes some getting used to for sure. I leave it attached to my helmet and put it on inside my truck. I also use a Zamp brand helmet skirt. It's flexible so I can keep it pulled up over the bottom of my helmet for air circulation until it's time to pull onto the track. Regan Wilson Super Street 469C

Thanks for jarring my memory guys, NecksGen is what I think I want! That being said, what model. The standard REV or the REV II? Do the lighter weight models make a big difference in comfort? 2BKING ![]() ![]() 1980 Camaro Taking the Best Working Small Tire Shyt Box & making it Greater Than Before! 3000 lbs. Pump Gas 436

I have an extra Necksgen Rev2 Lite that I just got back from being recertified. Size Medium 3". I had two junior dragster drivers who needed them. They have aged out, and I started using one of them. I do what Regan does; mine never comes off the helmet. I just had to change my routine to where the helmet needs to go on prior to the shoulder belts. Tony Leonard

I use the Rev and don't leave it on my helmet. I put my belts on, then my helmet and then I put my thumbs in the D shape part of the ring on the restraint. I then put my fingers on the front of the clasp mounted on my helmet and it guides the ring right in.

My neck is 6.5" wide & I need a large according to their sizing chart. I'm still undecided on the Lite or the Carbon. 2BKING ![]() ![]() 1980 Camaro Taking the Best Working Small Tire Shyt Box & making it Greater Than Before! 3000 lbs. Pump Gas 436
