New combo was just as deadly last week as the one it replaced. Heading to Numidia in a few hours for the 150 weekend. See you next week.

Mikey hits below the belt!!! We all can't be big blowers!!! Big Grin

We were going to go to the 150's too, I decided to play in a golf outing instead, we will attend the August 150 race though.

What kind of significant things are you hoping/expecting to see?

Every dragster I’ve ever seen go 300+ mph has been on Goodyears. That’s pretty cool.

That's because like Pro Stock tires NHRA will not let anyone else in. It is possible that nobody else wants in either...?
Hoosier does not grow like the GY and thats the big issue,,

I understand the exclusivity. I didn’t understand (and still don’t) what Bucky was getting at about seeing something significant from a dragster on Goodyears.

I’ve never seen a dragster on Goodyears turn into a flying pirate ship, but I’d find that significant.

one of our local TD car, fast to, has been using the new GY tires. Last week for first round he had to put his Hoosiers back on to get down the track...

The OP posted about his tire size of MTs being in short supply, this has me wondering if other slick manufacturers are in the same short supply predicament.?.? I find it comical when someone talks about what’s the fastest and what’s the slowest on a “BRACKET Talk” forum Big Grin

Not everybody is "getting at" something. There just don't seem to be significant numbers of the goodyears on bracket cars, nor much talk of it here. I'm not making judgements about GY's or any other tires. Smile (Just don't want the brand loyal thugs getting me Tony.)
It would be nice to have another options, particularly in smaller sizes or 15" rim tires too that "somewhat fast wannabes" like me could turn to when the time comes.

RM -Everything is in short supply now. It’s Bracket Talk but there are some very fast talented folks on here with bracket cars and class cars. I grew up bracket racing, its in my bones! Even with shoe polish we were trying to go faster! That said we probably would have won a bunch more if not for “screwwithititus!”

You’re not really going to run it with one stiff sidewall and one normal slick are you

No way doing this. Call them up and get the other 3074S. Their mistake and they’ll fix it quick if you let them. The RO between these two are not the same. They have more 3074S in stock. To quote you "Don't be Stupid".

758 I agree, there are a lot of fast, talented, and knowledgeable folks on here. I feel your pain on going faster and faster Big Grin, I just decided to settle on the slower side of things... I know some sizes of MTs are in short supply, just curious if Hoosiers were too. I've ran anything from Toyos to Goodyears & everything in between and I personally preferred Hoosiers when I was running 14 x 32s in the 5.90-6.30 range. Now, I love the longevity and consistency of the MT PBR 10.5s but I'm not against trying the Hoosier radial in that size if the supply is there.

I certainly hope you measure the actual rollout after they are mounted on your wheels and are aired up to your normal psi?
Never go by the written rollot, it is only a guide to keep pairs close.
