I'm here making do with the circumstances.

So why don't you just put a diaper on? Regardless of the rules yourself and everyone else benefits if you knock the rods out

I had a diaper, the headers burnt holes in the special Kevlar panels. I need to find a diaper not to do that. I spent a lot of money, for that diaper.

Might look at constructing belly pan, could be a better option

On to round 4, had to run a 16.70 car in the 3rd. Nice wheel stand with a 1.33 60'. High 5 660', slowed car to 10.17 for the 3rd round win.

Use header wrap on exhaust tubes in only small area that contacts the diaper. I did this with my universal DRE and works perfect.

My son wants to build a belly pan. I looked at the rules & I don't know if it's feasible with a crossmember getting in the way. I'll try & research it to see if it can be done or for examples.

MM,

I have my headers wrapped now; I will probably get with DRE & have another Kevlar diaper made.

I was a one man show at the track on this outing. I was told the photographer came by my trailer, but I was gone.

BTW, I went out in the 4th round. The 1,000 counts at various increments ran out & I went 9.96 on a 10.00 dial. My opponent went under also, but by a lesser amount of course. I did have a better light.

Looking forward to this Thanksgiving week/weekend, 6 races planned. I don't have to slow the car & hopefully it's as good as I think it's all out. I'm doing a decent job of driving, hopefully it continues this week.

Sounds like the preparation transitioning to ProCharger is coming to fruition.

The first trip to victory lane will be a memorable one. Well done King, sounds like it's getting nearer.

Get some photo's or video up in here, I wanna check it out!

The goal is to get a win this year, my last wins were 2020. I did well in 2021 with some in the money & one bride's maid finishes, but I only ran 5 or 6 races.

I'm pushing myself pretty hard for the win & I've always done well under pressure. We'll see how this short season ends.

Need to turn off the launch retard for the good pic or vid. Not so sure I want to do that. I'm not much for the wheelies when racing on a full tree. Pro light, it's a different story.

When my 67 Camaro was set up to do big wheelies the car was a blast to drive but not as consistent reaction times and 60 foot times as I like.

As much fun as the wheelies are winning consistently is more fun.

For the clueless…

Anthony Bertozzi, Joe Santangilo, Peter Biondo and Dan Fletcher to name just a few, have won numerous races, numerous division championships snd numerous world championships with their cars launching wheels up.

Further the biggest payday ever in ALL of drag racing was won by Steve Sisko driving a “big wheel stand” Nova owned by Anthony Bertozzi.

Further 2, my own wheel standing Firebird is deadly!
