My only negative is I wish either RPM or Crew Chief would talk to each other. At this time I don't think or I just don't know if I can download my RPM data to Crew Chief for each run.
I know it is done for RacePac.

I have never messed with either Racepac or Crew Chief. I don't know what format the Racepac files are nor what Crew Chief will import.
I sure won't put down Racepac stuff though. They are the standard for sure. I just don't need what they offer and don't want to pay that much for the same data. Plus RPM is just down the turnpike from me.

David CoveyCurtis,
Same here, good stuff but I get the same data at a better deal with RPM. I used to have a Quik Data and it worked good as well. In fact I used all my sensors from it.
By the way. You can use string pots as a shock sensor with the RPM. I did. Just set Ride height , Extension and Bump values and your good to go.
Also, as a FYI. I added a sensor to monitor my CO2 pressure and it shows on my dash. I couldn't see the gauge up under the body on the dragster. Now I just cycle through the dash and see it.. Good stuff.

69427I used these shock sensors with my Racepak USM module. 0-5volt. They work better than a string pot.

Big SteveJust an FYI for RPM users, my son and Randy are working together on the next generation RPM data logger. I do not know any details of what it can and cannot do or when it will be released for Beta testing. My son has done about 150 hours of programing and Randy and his people are working on the hardware end of it.

CURTIS REEDSweet. I might see if I can get in on that testing.

For that price I may add shock sensor to my logger.

wideopen231Well shock sensors are at least off list of decisions. Trying to figure is better off just going a head and getting the DL28 with bare minimum sensors. That would allow future expansions. First though was DL20 but looks like limited on analogs I can add. DL10 does not allow for my egt's.
Dl28 with 2 rpms,1 pressure and 1 temp and egt's which I already have except for RPMS connection box's is about 300 more than my budget allowed.Like those things ever work.
DL 20 would allow me to get few more readings now and not blow thru budget. But looks like limited on analog add on.
Basically want to be able to have about 8 analog pieces when system is done.
