Nice did you get ti bolts?

My earlier reply " Why ask". Was not insulting your asking but a point. If you wanted them your are going to but them. Kind of like folks praying for answer on rather they should or should not.In all honesty they know the answer and just want to make themselves feel ggo think God tols them it was ok to do what they are going to do.

Agian nice wheels when they are worn out and useles in year I will give .40 on the dollar for them after all they not going to be as fast as newer one,Or sold I was told heree once about used parts.LMAO

Bryan that 2 different knurling patterns are NOT going to work together properly !! They will grip the tire differently and eventually eat the tire bead away. Any burn-out over 2000 rpm will make it much worse.
I don't know what you paid for those rims, but being you're friend I'll buy them from you at half price just to bail you out of this mess..I mean that's what friends are for right??
I'm only thinking of you buddy HMMMM

Hey you'd be proud of me....sr4440 on here got me a line on a semi-racecar 1970 Duster...The photos look like it can be a street car/ sometimes racer....Only problem is it's right in the middle of Texas...Long tow to get it without seeing it up close...No motor which is perfect for me being an engine guy...with all this talk lately about racing in the heat I might even put A/C in it...

We had some fitment issues mounting the M/T PBRs to the double beadlock rims today. I took some measurements & called Keizer. Depending on the tire manufacturer there are different thicknesses of beads. I happened to have the thicker ones. The are sending spacer rings to correct the issue, free of charge.

I think the longer bolts might actually bend the ring. But that’s just a guess.

The beadlock ring needs to torque down to the rim flange with the proper torque & crush on the tire bead. It wasn't going to happen & it was stressing the bolts at the lower torque setting. It snapped a couple bolt heads off at 10 ft lbs. I need to torque them to 18-20 ft lbs.

I had something like that happen once. I put a washer between the ring and the wheel so I could torque the bolts without tweaking the ring/bolts. I figured if it squished the tire bead correctly it didn’t matter how I got there lol

Some 15 inch Weld wheels require different beadlock rings depending on tire manufacture, not sure which ones.
I have had Goodyears, MT and Hoosier on my Weld 16x16 V series without any clamping problems

Steve, are you saying all 16” tires are made with the same bead thickness?

No Idea Dave, I just know I have mounted all 3 brands on Weld 16x16 beadlock wheels without a problem

When I was on the phone with Keizer discussing the bead thickness. The tech made reference to the different bead thicknesses. I thought he said the Goodyear & Hoosier tires generally run in the .350 area thickness: the M/Ts were about .750, ours measured .720.

I have a set of Hoosier radials mounted on non-beadlock rims. I'm curious what the measure at.

I did a Google search & didn't find much info on the subject. The one I did find was on a bias ply M/T @ .590

. That was my results when I called around asking about the different bead thickness of different brands. The people that would bother checking for me varied wildly..so I just said fuc-it and shimmed my new bead-locks as needed to get good clamping on my brand of tires. Worked fine and without an issue.
