What lube is everyone using for alcohol

I did see a while back that Lucas oil was doing some Dyno testing of methanol upper cylinder lube with Nic Woods on Jr motors. I've yet to see anything since then.

Haven't run alky I a while but Power Plus was the stuff I used and it was good! They also have it in different scents too!

Tried most of them and always have the best luck with Klotz.

I used Redline for a couple years, it kept things nice & clean in the entire fuel system.
Changed to Power Plus last year, (I like the Wild Cherry scent), and it also has kept things looking pristine.
I believe all of the products mentioned in the comments are good ones, because they are specifically made for this purpose. Haven't used Uplon yet, but I know Klotz makes quality lubricants, that is what most of the Pro Supercross racers were using in their 2-strokes before they got outlawed. I can say the Redline and Power Plus both stay perfectly blended with your methanol. A friend uses trans fluid, (which *might* work ok as a top lube, when it is freshly mixed), but you can see how it separates out and sinks to the bottom of his barrels and jugs. Real top lube for alky doesn't do that. I can unscrew the cap off a jug that has been sitting for a month, and I don't see the lube at the bottom like his ATF. (And who knows how effective it is as a top lube? I wonder what is he saving, maybe $3-5 per barrel of fuel)?

I order clear alcohol with no lube and add Root Beer scent to it.

Anyone else NOT run top lube? I stopped when we started jr racing, as it seemed some of the jr motors were unfriendly with it and it would cause misfires. No first hand experience with that.
But running mfi for a few years and didn't have any issues. Ran efi last year, and no issue yet using it straight.

Run gas in my car, but with the Jr's, i bought the first one with a fresh motor, was told to run lube. Bought an engine from a builder, was told not to run lube. So who knows??

For those running top lube. What difference have you had between lube and no lube fuel? How long did you run without lube before you decided you need lube?

I have done both, not seen much performance difference...I use lube cause anything that involves friction could use some lube...from sex to racing...lube always made me feel better.

I use top lube to make sure the valve guides don't go dry and grab a valve stem. Not worried about the bores, I think they get plenty of oil thrown on them. My guides are still on the tight side, and having twice gone through a "dropped valve" deal, I can tell you the carnage it causes is worth the small cost of a little "peace of mind". (One of the bombs was caused by a broken spring, the other was on a fairly fresh build, 58th pass, with new guides and valves, right about identical situation to where I am at with my current engine... It had brand new everything, clearances checked, never could figure out what caused it, but the head guy, who was a very good, well known race engine builder said he probably should have put a touch more hone on the new guides).

I'm using Power Plus... never have run without top lube.

used some yellow additive the other day.Man it sounds and smells different.LOL Not sure about lubricating anything but man the sound rocks.
