I run Amsoil Dominator racing oil. Biggest thing is to make sure the oil is compatible with methanol. Not all oil is. Mark Goulette Owner/Driver of the Livin' The Dream Racing dragster www.livinthedreamracing.com"Speed kills but it's better than going slow!" Authorized Amsoil Retailer

Schaeffers, micron MOLY, made for methanol, I watched on a dyno for a 410 sprint car, several high RPM pulls and oil pressure and oil temp hardly changed. I have been running it in my 588 for awhile now, no issues

I’ve used Penn Grade, Schaffers, VR1, Mobil 1 and for the past 3 years Maxima full synthetic in sbc. 10w30 is the weight I choose. No milking or moisture in my oil ever on methanol as reported in the oil analysis every year I have done. I think most any race oil is good.

Hot oil....If you get the motor oil hot enough the water and methanol don't effect your oil.
