As much as this pains me to say......

I sent my engine out your way Coloradoracer, for a freshen up and maybe a little more performance. It went out west with the RM spacer and sheer plate under each carb, and came back the same way.

My rig ain't no triple chrome plated deal with 60' blasts that rotate the earth, but those RM plates seem to work OK.....

I think I'm going to try this setup, it's bound to work:

4 RM shear place spacers, spread bore adapter, 1/2" open spacer, magna fuel shear plate/vibration damper. Then, ABOVE the throttle bodies, two tapered open spacers, followed by a four hole black widow spacer turned upside down to help direct air into the throttle bodies....

THAT has GOT to work!!!!

I almost forgot. I'll turn the upper spacers a few degrees to "swirl" the air going into the engine. That alone should net me at least 150 hp per throttle body!!

While that will no doubt make the most power, if you're looking for consistency then this is your ticket.

ps. GM's Vortec patent is still in effect, don't open yourself up to legal liability.

Didn't think about those. I bet they will totally SMOKE the RM shear plates!!! I'll stack two on each throttle body, on top of the spacers already there....

Damn, I'm gonna pick up something like 400-450 hp from all this.....

So glad Mikey tipped me off on the RM spacers and the gains you get!!!

I still don't see a time slip with your car number on it verifying it's you that made the run.

Your car would barely qualify for the street class at bandimere....I have a racing buddy there that drives his car to work every day, then races is on Friday nights for Club Clash...his stuff is faster than yours ON THE MOUNTAIN....so I wouldn't be bragging your car is fast....because it's not....

Another racer, usually runs Club Clash with the Corvette Connection group. See him there every Wednesday test and tune. Again, he drives the car every day and to the track. He could SMOKE your car without even trying to. Keep in mind, these guys have better performance than you do at over 8500' DA.......

Now if you come up to the mountain, AND run those times and mph, maybe you can brag that you have an average performing car then. But it's not nearly as special as you're making it out to be....

A street driven car running quicker than 6.40 at 3250 with a small block?

looks like that $70 spacer was well worth the money. picked you up .3 sec and set the 6.40 mph record for a small block with triple chrome curb feelers.

The runs in the other thread his car runs 6.50's at 104-105. I strongly believe this is his timeslip just his car is in the right lane.

My 355 on alcohol runs that at 3080 lbs.

657 @ 105 seems about right for the Nova, and the one actual video that I've seen.
I'd love to see a video of 643 @ 113 and prove it didnt have a 200 shot used from 330'-660'.

My little 385 at 2950 runs 643 @ 107.5 and I dont have a shear plate, and dont have a dominator on it.

You won't, not of his car...that run wasn't his....still hasn't proven that one and that's the whole debate....the rest of the timeslips show he lost first round, bought back, then lost in the final....so he couldn't get past first round without a buyback...they don't have those where I race at, you have to WIN first round to move on.....and not one of those rounds shows a 6.4xx nor his claimed 1.27 60'......

High gear only lap.

Put it in high gear and pull 14 degrees timing simultaneously, three tenths after transmission brake release.

You know it has decent power when they say it has nitrous.

Who makes the spoiler attached to the front bumper? I've been looking for something similar for my Nova.
