Exceldyne makes two series of belt drives for a big block Chevy, the Elite and the Pro. Does anyone here have experience with either? Any problems with either? I have been offered one for $450. Would prefer an RCD but they don't exactly sell them for $450. Bob

That is a smoking deal. The Exceldyne belt drives are very fine, either one. Abbott Racing Heads (432) 558-2841

When I did my research I felt the Exceldyne was the best and it has worked great. There was some things I did not like about the Jesel and some of the others were rather cheap designed and built compared to them. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge. If not there is no point to argue. 4X NE2 CHAMPION. 2020 TDRA NE2 Champion

I have the Pro on my 632, be careful when installing crank pulley, first go-round I folded over the ext. edge of the double lip seal, poor vac. & drip. Now I expand the outer seal lip with my fingers before installing pulley...I like the set-up..
