Recently picked up some polished stainless headers that had a decent amount of bluing on them. Spent way more time than I ever wanted polishing them back to glory. Any suggestions on bluing prevention?

Have them coated or learn to live with it. After polishing, as soon as you start the engine they will begin to blue again

Heat colors in the pipe is just a tuning tool!! Jeremiah Hall

Haha I’d rather go by the spark plug but I can’t disagree lol

I've had some electropolished before. Works real well and cheap to do if you have a source local. If you have a place that builds wire racks for ovens, freezers etc., they will know where to go to.

Never thought of that! Use a place in town all the time for electropolishing 440c details, I don’t recall their minimum being too outrageous. I know it’ll brighten the finish quite a bit but it also helped with the bluing?
