Wondering if any here hace run Edlebrock BBC heads? looking at a set for a 496 street engine build. Most everything ever had Edelbrock was pretty good stuff and figure heads the same,never know now days and asking is cheap.

Used? Liked dislike?

The Edelbrock RPM heads are what NHRA requires for the aftermarket SS replacement upgrade. IMO they are actually decent heads for the money. I have done lots of the SBC and BBC castings.

I think for a street engine they are perfect. The seats and guides are CHE and they are USA.

Hard to beat a recommendation like that. Thanks. Looking at the rpm oval ports. Not bad boy engine just bbc in Panel truck.

If you want the rectangle port heads, they are pretty good out of the box but can be improved easily. As Chad said; you will be impressed with the oval port heads!

I have been running a set of Edelbrock's oval port heads on my motor home (506ci) for more than 10 years, really happy with the results. Great performance and mileage, never had a problem.

Well guess will find out in few days. Pulled trigger yesterday, For me it was big trigger for street engine. As for mileage pretty sure that is not in Panels future. LOL
