Nice job, Larry. I like the looks of that tire being tucked in there right where you have it. Wink

Good Morning Mr. Fin,
Can you explain why you went with the 8.8 instead of the tried and true 9"

Steve, the 8.8 will be completely suitable for this buildup.

Steve, for the record, the Leach Street Race Team is a very exclusive group. The Harvey family and the Woodfin family are it! Smiles to you.

The Leach Street Race Team has a lot of wins, track championships, divisional wins, divisional championships and some super fast and cool cars under their belt. Also, that Torrence kid came over and played on Leach quite a bit and rode his bike with all of us.

A friend once said, "anything worth doing is worth doing to excess."

After many ideas and three actual designs, I am satisfied. Now to finish the brackets and welding, then fry other fish.

When I first got the car, I 'thought" it would be flashy, like red or yellow. But now, I am leaning more toward the classy. Look. Someone said to consider colors that draw attention to the car, not the color.

The acceleration will be such that if I tape a $5.00 bill on the dash, you would not be able to pick it off. [in the olden days, the story was for a $100.00 bill, but I can not take that chance]

The big tires or slicks tucked under really set it off.

I am always looking for and am attracted to something different. When I saw the Woodebaker at the swap meet, I knew I was taking it home before I walked around it. The swap meet was 55 miles from my shop. The seller loaned me his trailer, and I took it home and brought his trailer back before the swap meet shut down.

The project is still evolving; stand by.

Some parts arrive in a white truck. Some parts arrive in a brown truck. I pick up some parts in my Ram truck. I think this one came by airplane.
