We're all doing fine here but I/we could cash out here and go live like kings elsewhere in the country. And save a crap load of money from cost of living, taxes and private schools etc....buy 10-20 acres of land and build a few houses and have good quality of life instead of double locking doors, security lights and packing a pistol everywhere you go..
I'm fine I just care about my kids and their kids

While CR has more votes, I think 87 to DRR's 34 votes. The trend still shows the higher percentages dialing honest or holding .01-.02 numbers.

I chose, use all the holds .01-.06 & above; I very rarely use the .01-.02 holds & I don't dial honest.

For years 1/4 mile racing I would hold 1.5 or more if the car wasn’t constant. Our track switched to 1/8 mile. I got older. And my combo got faster. Holy sh1t I can’t get the stripe right to save me now. I’ll relax back in the seat thinking I sure did a great job on that one, and see the other light come on. Then look at the ticket in astonishment realizing I didn’t even take the stripe. I gotta get a handle on that.

Dave, I recommend promoting this plan for a better life with your entire family. In the long run they will all thank you for it. And you can get back to racing.

Everything here now is 1/8 mile in my area and I hate it. I think I would be a better racer if I could do some 1/4 mile racing once in a while.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.
