My dad says he bought this one in 76 or 78. I know it was run all through the 80’s at Houston international and Eastex. It has been many colors over the years also. Silver, bunch of shades of blue, white, pink, and the current colors.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Thanks guys! The body has been painted as is since 88 or so, all the hand painted lettering was done in 90. I’m more proud of whats under the body myself. It’s as modern as you can get under the body. The car is big so the big tires fit up under there nicely. Plenty of room for big tubs without the worry of tire clearance issues also. The posted pic is with the 3186 Mickeys. I put my big bubbas and beadlocks off the dragster on it to try next outing.

Hell yeah, that truck works good like that I bet. Looks like a locomotive coming down through there, from the stripe.

I have Big Bubbas on my door car. Love them honestly. Its a lot of tire for sure but no issues for me. Mine is a tad faster than yours FWIW. We ran a little bubba on a 5.50 dragster too when my son started racing to knock some "gear" out of it as he progressed to running faster..

Should be interesting, I'd leave the front dampers alone first hit, maybe snug em hair on the second to improve the check mark at the hit, we're hunting in the drive shaft graph.

In November 2020 7-7 event Vegas we tested a new Hoosier 17/33.5 tire on the GTO. The race before was a string of 1.04 60 foots 18700 tire. . The very first pass at the Divisional was 1.00! Every run to the final round was 1.00 60! Car was deadly. Then Covid..... Fast forward two weeks ago testing at Sacramento, again 1.00 with another New Test Tire from Hoosier, Brand new tire first run 1.00 60 foot on a hot track and torn up by street tires. One week later Vegas Divisional.. 1.01 1.00 1.00 1.00...no timing curve or bandaids! ! As soon as I can get you what number they are going to call this tire I will let you know. We are impressed to say the least! Great work Hoosier!

Like the song but with the HP level, or lack there of, I don't think he has enough power or TQ to pull that long and low IC. I think a shorter one will work better but will need to balance the Anti-Squat against the IC point to see what will work better. Good thing is there is a lot of adjustment there and he will get it worked out.
