Right of course, the majority of his replies here are to my threads, my replies, he brings NOTHING of relevance. No first hand experience to any topic.

Ban him Scott!

Now if someone starts a topic about how to get a pro charged sbc to only run pathetic high 9s, he’s the lone expert here! Laughing very hard

Meanwhile this is how it’s done right, the first time..

but Joe wouldn’t waste his time here arguing with idiots that think they know!

That 615 is showing 1100 to 1125 HP, so your corrected HP is in the 1160 +/- range, the correction factor at 1000' isn't anywhere near 10% to make the claimed 1230/HP/2 HP per cube, the dyno spit out. Those combo's will not make 2 HP per cube in any manner with respect a typical bracket combo. 1.9 - 1.93 HP/CID is a good bracket combo measured on an accurate dyno.

This post has nothing to do with Oakley or any other engine builder, it's just what that head can support HP wise.

I can only imagine what our friend Tracy Dennis would have thought about this masterpiece!

Al you may be right. I'm hoping to roll the 8 degrees of timing back in it this year along with a tire change. I truly feel I should be able to go a .2x in that same air.

Scott,

I just put one of those intakes on my new 9-degree motor from SDPC. They are a work of art. Cant wait to see how the car runs.

Jeremy. I'm not really sure a lot has been seen on the 9 degree stuff with it from the cars I've seen, but I think it will drastically help the 20 degree stuff from what's out there.

ran my new sunset racing engines 615 sr 20 alum motor in my chevy2 this past week at orlando d2 race in super gas. consistently 9.90ish 169 plus with a 170mph thrown in. still have some timer and shifting thoughts to address that will be interesting performance wise. it appears to be 1.98 hp/in ish and has a smaller carb for throttle stop racing. no w/o pass made yet.
