| I think Star Machine is the best option. I tried an electric smog pump for a while. It's good to pull moisture from the crankcase when you're sitting in the pits but doesn't pull enough vacuum while going down the track. I've since switched to a belt driven pump. |

| There's a GM electric vacuum pump meant to supply the power brake booster that some people use. Can't remember the exact vehicles it was on, maybe diesels? It moves a fair volume of air.

| Pro’s used ( while back) an 18volt battery pack with a vac pump rear to boost vac to over 22. I’ll have to look next week. It can be done yes! If memory serves me the electric GM pump could only build 8-10? Better than nothing! Benefit with vac are huge.

Some Vegas used them. Good luck finding one. |

| The one I used back in the day came off an S10 pickup I thought. OK for pulling some moisture out of the engine if you run alky, but nowhere near good enough to pull sufficient vacuum at WOT. |

Never seen an electric pump on the new diesels ? Maybe I missed that? All I’ve seen are pulley mounted diesel vac pumps. They can build 10” or more too.
