I've run the MSD selector and the adjustable chips, no issues.

Issues? Yes, I’ve seen the self-inflicted ones where somehow the dial gets moved inadvertently wrong.

Adjustable chip is bulkier than standard chip, can vibrate out. I've used tape to hold them in place.

You mean I can not zip tie them? That will kill the entire zip tie industry. Doing some rerouting of wiring.Trailer floor looks like zip tie explosion. LOL

Wonder how many zip ties are killed in name of drag racing every year?

Thanks for tip on scuring them in.

I prefer digital programming controls like Grid for 2/3-step. MSD offers a remote 2-step adjustment control (7751) for Grid that plugs into a CAN-bus Hub adaptor (7740). Grid can be adjusted in 50 rpm 2-step increments in unlimited rpm values for those wanting this.

For those using the rpm ports on analog boxes it’s wise to tape the high rpm chip in place.

shift is on timmer right now. 2 step mainly . figure rev limit stay but stage may want to change at times. Heck adjust a chip cost less than either msd dail module or half dozen chips.

Will see one on the way from summit. Had to buy other items to get free shipping but need few pieces and good excuse.LOL
