329LI had a thermostat housing leaking (goza), it ended up being the 4 bolts loose that held the body to the base.

CURTIS REEDI don't use a gasket, only sealer. I did however machine my own thermostat housing that has a -12AN male on it.

Top355xIf it’s an aftermarket one try taking a flat file to the surface have found so many warped or deformed and yes still use thin coating of sealer

BrktracerYes. I recently installed one with blue Fel Pro and it leaked. Installed another with blue FP and coated gasket with thin layer of Ultra Black - no leaks.
