I had a thermostat housing leaking (goza), it ended up being the 4 bolts loose that held the body to the base. Jeremiah Hall | |||

I don't use a gasket, only sealer. I did however machine my own thermostat housing that has a -12AN male on it. | |||

If it’s an aftermarket one try taking a flat file to the surface have found so many warped or deformed and yes still use thin coating of sealer | |||

Yes. I recently installed one with blue Fel Pro and it leaked. Installed another with blue FP and coated gasket with thin layer of Ultra Black - no leaks. Matt Ward | |||

I rther not use sealer if cna avoid,but when its leaking. I would use the black or gray and calling done. America home of free. Brought to you by 2nd amendment. | |||
