To the OP, my neighbor at the track just got a Champion remote start inverter generator, pretty sure it’s a 4500. I like it because it’s quiet. I’ll ask him how he likes it later today when I get to the track.

Okay. I'm following this thread because it interests me. I currently have no issues with either my rooftop AC or any of my generators.
But, if I wanted to put an AC in the garage area of my 50ft trailer and the mini split interests me, where would I mount the condenser?

I have a Honda 3000 that might need a new gas tank. It sat for a few years and looks nasty inside.

Any good places on-line for Honda parts? Or just buy locally?

I've got a Honda 7000 mounted on the tongue of my trailer. Man that thing's the berries.

Thanks, I want to get it out first before buying, but it doesn't look pretty. It was mounted on the the tongue of the trailer. It was own fault for not keeping up with it.

Bruce, does the EU 7000 handle both your air conditioners? I have a 15K BTU and would like to add another but not sure it will handle both. The 7000 Handles the AC, the air compressor and anything else I throw at it without even flinching

Those are both 15s. I've run them both at one time for a while but, not sustained. There is a fabric divider inside so I never have to run both the at the same time. Front during the day and rear when sleeping.

Oh, I forgot. The Hondas have an output readout. When both 15s were running output was 3800 watts.

The Honda EU7000is is scarce as hen's teeth here in the South. We have an in at Northern Tool and they had none available anytime soon.

My son picked mine up in Toledo and a friend of mine in Ocala ordered his from out of state. Illnois, I think.

Why don't you look at the REAL cause of the problem. Our Tax System. Our Government taxes the WORKING man before we ever get our pay. That is fine if we are only dealing with other American companies. But our Government wants to force the Global Economy up us.
Our Government taxes American businesses and Goods made in America while giving a FREE RIDE to all other Countries.

Until Trump did the Tariffs all goods made in Foreign Countries paid NO TAXES. NONE. So what that meant is our Government was giving our Competitors a 50% or more tax break. The cost of labor in China is much more than most people think. They are not beating us because of CHEAP labor there, they are beating us because of HIGH FEDERAL PAYROLL TAXES HERE. They are beating us because we pay Federal taxes when we work and nothing when you buy. That is why Companies and Consumers are forced to buy Foreign goods. Our basic Capitalist system lets us buy what ever we want from best quality and price and best one wins. But we are NOT on equal footing with our competitors. So we need to have a Point of sale tax and eliminate the work penalty from Big Brother. With a point of sale tax then it would not matter where you came from or who made it we would all be equal and pay taxes. Another part of the problem with our tax system is topless dancers, illegal aliens, drug dealers etc are not paying any taxes. So they are getting a free ride to on our backs like Foreign Countries. Do not blame China, Japan or anyone else for the mess our Government created. Note China taxes heck out of everything we sell them as do most other Countries yet we do not charge them the same? since World War 2 we have spent Trillions taking care of Japan and gave them tax breaks on their junk? If Company A builds something here in America we have to charge much more because of all the payroll taxes and other taxes built in to cost of making it. So lets say they can build a Whatchamacallit for $2,000 and make a little profit. But Company C in China does not have to build in all of those Payroll and Corporate taxes. So they can build same Whatchamacallit it for $673 dollars and make a profit. Same thing what you going to buy with your hard earned money? Who's fault is it? Not the American Company, Not China Company they are both playing by rules set by our Government. Problem is those rules are not the same for both companies.

PUT AMERICA ON EQUAL TAXES WITH REST OF THE WORLD AND ONCE AGAIN AMERICA WILL LEAD THE WORLD. I am not expecting America to get any special treatment or favors just treat us fairly in our own Country and America will come out on top.

Until we fix our Tax system there will always be another Country to take advantage of us until we are broke and in same situation as Africa, Mexico and even like China was before our Government slipped us the weenie.

Talked to my neighbor at the track who has a 4500 champion inverter generator with remote start. He says he really likes it. It runs the AC in his motorhome and normal trailer stuff. It’s built in a factory in China right next to where Ed’s Honda was made. Just a hop skip and a jump from where his kids KIA was made too
