JCDRAGSNO POWER TO STARTER
Just put another motor in and switch panel lights up but no power going to the starter. Only battery cable to starter all else is on the ford solenoid just clicks, could battery be that dead??????

CURTIS REEDPut a meter on the output side of the relay and or check voltage of the battery with it.

Curly1I would swap out battery out of your truck or something to quickly narrow it down. Also look for loose wires, connections etc when you do.

Top355xCheck to make sure you have power at the starter and check grounds maybe forgot it when changed motor or to eliminate question run jumper cables right from battery to starter as a test

JCDRAGSCar is in park but running a ford solenoid , when I hit the starter buttton it just clicks no power goin to the starter, switched starter out and now I get power to starter cable, starter was good when I took it out of other motor. appears to be the starter...

Those solenoids go bad all the time. Hit it with wrench and try it again. Or buy new one and keep it when it does fail if that doesn't fix it
