Put a meter on the output side of the relay and or check voltage of the battery with it.

I would swap out battery out of your truck or something to quickly narrow it down. Also look for loose wires, connections etc when you do.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Check to make sure you have power at the starter and check grounds maybe forgot it when changed motor or to eliminate question run jumper cables right from battery to starter as a test

We'll all assume that you have the start terminal on the starter connected?

Those solenoids go bad all the time. Hit it with wrench and try it again. Or buy new one and keep it when it does fail if that doesn't fix it
