Since my Centerline beadlocks are now paperweights (sfi sticker came loose) I am in the market for some new 16x16 beadlocks, sfi 15.1 or higher with 5x5.5 bolt circle. Found Sanders, Weld Alumastar, weld Delta, and Star makes wheels that fit the bill ranging from $1300 per wheel to $3k per wheel. Anybody weigh them and see what the extra money gets you in actual weight (delta and star lightest and Most expensive I assume).

I don't have your answer to how much they all weigh. Did you check with Racestar wheels? They are in Kansas and also sponsor TD/TS in the Midwest PM series. Danny Nelson is a dealer for them and might be able to get you a good price.

Personally I would not get anything higher than a 15.1 wheel that way you don't have to have them recertified

I just put my dragster on a diet and there are some nice wheels out there...the lightest of all of them is the weld delta 1 which where also the most expensive..
I originally ordered the race stars not realizing they where manufactured in china.thank god they had a manufacturing flaw in them so I sent them back to summit for the weld delta 1.

Interesting, did not know the Dragracer wheels were Chinese. Not sure I can do the $2600 per wheel with the Delta, although they are extremely nice. Wonder what the weight is on the Sanders.

Sanders make a very nice wheel quit focusing on the weight you’ll never see it on the ET...my deltas are no faster than my MT beadlocks for what it’s worth...
