Best Intake for 20 Degree Big Block Chevy
Why would any bracket racer think he needs a tunnel ram/2 carb manifold today no mind that manifold when there are 20 degree headed engines out there making north of 1300HP with a cast manifold and single dominator carb and at least one engine from one builder making north of 1400HP with a sheet metal manifold and single dominator carb?

Maybe so but my point is there is no performance advantage.

This is a truck pulling engine. IMO this manifold is brutal.. Just doing what I was asked! Wink

Also, this is the first set I've had that has the Dura-bond Killer Bee seats.

If by that you mean Dart's copper impregnated iron seats, don't use a Titanium intake valve!

Assume that's after porting? Not as bad as I thought but still heavy, about 7 pounds more than a SV 632 intake.

Yes after porting..

I have hundreds of titanium valves on the 15% copper seats. The GM LS7 head has them with a DW coated valve.

If you are responsible for this build, you need to reread what I told you! Unless Dart changed their seat material or you put different seats in the heads, you will have issues with the Tit. intake valves. Seats will be fine, valves with loose the battle! even with 50 degree seat angles..

Dart is using CHE seats. I've been using the same seats for years. A CrN coated valve will live. I have lots of them out there.
