HolytownIs the extra ET worth the price difference? Looking to go low 460 in 1900 lb dragster

jimmycLow 60s better be a stout 582. If it’s a new build why not go bigger

HolytownJust would rather have 4.375 stroke rather than 4.75
February 01, 2020, 06:31 PM
jimmyc4.5 then make 598
February 01, 2020, 06:53 PM
HolytownShould have clarified. I’m trying to stick with 4.375 stroke

gxp7903is this in denvor nc or denvor co? co will be real tough with a 582!
Id go with sr20 if your willing to run gas. you'd need a stout 582 with HHs to run low 60s at 1900lbs imo.

Big SteveThis would be my choice, bad ass cylinder head and they have all the valve train geometry worked out so it is extremely reliable

AlkyIROCSorry, Conventional 24.5 heads on my 588. I use a 4.375 stoke to get 588 out of a short deck block.
I think if I was going to build another 588, I'd go straight for an SR20 build.

CashflowLook up the video on the X-20 head. If I were doing a conventional head that’s what I would build. Good luck with whatever you pick!
