Is it possible to swap the Valvebody in a PG on a dragster without other parts coming out. Basically just unbolt the old valvebody and bolt up a new one ? I did drop one on a 4L60E once in my Trans Am, didnt know if a PG would be the same

yes, you can do so. However, if you are unfamiliar with the PG, it would be best to have the trans upside down on a bench. The swap requires aligning the shift valve, low servo pipe, and gaskets all at once as it bolts up. The Carl Munroe "bible"[book] would be helpful. Larry Woodfin

Yes can be done. After first time and seeing what yo have to do as stated above its fairly simple. Beauty of PG is simplicity. America home of free. Brought to you by 2nd amendment.

If you can do it on a 4l60e, you can do a powerglide.
