I had one of their pumps and it had issues. I couldn't get it to pull the vacuum that I wanted and I ended up giving is away. I switched to moroso and never looked back. I've heard good things about GZ pumps as well.

I have seen many responses that the users having problems and many that worked great. I have a friend that put one on last year and it works great. I have another racing friend that sells them on Facebook for a good price for the whole set up. That doesn't answer your question but the one thing I don't care for about them is that it isn't hard anodized or even plain anodized on the inside and I have seen them eat up from the vanes.

Your best bet would be to look at the Moroso or the Star vacuum pumps..

I had one, it was junk. Non stop pulley issues and then the vanes ate the case up on the inside. Replaced it with a moroso. No problems since.

I acquired one for no money basically, so i figured why not use it. The inside was scared, but had my machine guy chuck it up and smooth it all out. Got it polished and put it on my small block. turn it 1 to 1 and get 13+ inches in the 1/4 mile. 3-5 inches idling. Take it apart every couple of years and do a good cleaning. No issues.

Give me a call, I'll hook you up with good stuff! We not only build them in-house, we also test them and do R&D most weekends at the track. 209 296-3793 www.gzmotorsports.com

Can't go wrong with a GZ pump. I've had one on my car for several years and it's been flawless.

When I did my research years ago It came down to the Star or the GZ Motorsports pump.

I ended up with the GZ and it has been great.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.
