Blower cam
Is a nos camshaft similar to supercharged or close enough to use?

Depends on lobe separation angle. I know blowers like a pretty wide separation, 112 or more. Give Jones Cams a call. He ground one for me that worked very well.

NOS cam have no idea.Example of blower cams .One of best for TA application. crane 296-500. 296 at .050 duration .500 lobe or .850 valve cl 116 intake at 35* .050. I have half dozen cams on shelf that are a;; fairly close to that.

As David said you want to keep the separation on the wide side 214/215insh otherwise your just pushing boost out the exhaust during overlap. I kept my lift on the short side, just a tick over .800, didnt see any reason to be killing the springs. duration 286 int/296 exh. Bullet ground mine.

I’m similar to Steve, 115 lobe separation and just over .800 on lift.

Wow. The camshaft in my car was a custom grind that I bought off Ebay. I run it NA. Duration at 0.050 is 282/290 and lift is 0.833/0.809. LSA is 114.

From the sounds of what you guys are using in a blower motor this should work just as well.

A GOOD nitrous cam will work just fine and will probably be faster than big Steve’s stick

Depends on the type of fuel your going to use....and the CI of the engine.Typically a nitrous cam requires a bunch more exhaust duration that a blower cam.

If you just want something that will just open and close valves it will do that. Personally, I wouldn't use it.
