B KINGMoser 9" Muscle Pak Rearend
I know nothing about 9" Ford rearends & looking at a complete Moser 9" Muscle Pak rearend. This is going in our 80 Camaro, ProCharged 434 SBC weighing 2900 lbs. with driver. I'm looking at the fabricated housing, but don't know what else to get. Like aluminum or nodular iron center section. This will be discussed with Moser but wanted to hear your opinions.

Curly1They could answer your questions better but I would say go with 40 spline axles, not much more money and much stronger. If you get gun drilled they are strong and pretty light to. Aluminum pumpkin is easier to work with.

-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.
Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

B KINGMinimum 35 spline, but not ruling out the 40s. I guess Moser will have the final determination along with the center section. The car will not see larger than a 30 x 10.5 slick. Thanks for the replies.
