I know nothing about 9" Ford rearends & looking at a complete Moser 9" Muscle Pak rearend. This is going in our 80 Camaro, ProCharged 434 SBC weighing 2900 lbs. with driver. I'm looking at the fabricated housing, but don't know what else to get. Like aluminum or nodular iron center section. This will be discussed with Moser but wanted to hear your opinions. 1980 Camaro Taking the Best Working Small Tire Shyt Box & making it Greater Than Before! 3000 lbs. Pump Gas 436 | ||

They could answer your questions better but I would say go with 40 spline axles, not much more money and much stronger. If you get gun drilled they are strong and pretty light to. Aluminum pumpkin is easier to work with. https://postimg.cc/gallery/np3zpruo/ "Dunning-Kruger Effect" -a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. Minimum 35 spline, but not ruling out the 40s. I guess Moser will have the final determination along with the center section. The car will not see larger than a 30 x 10.5 slick.
