New tank had issue lasgt night with vent tube getting filled during hit. Seems all fuel piushed back ius filling tand tup to topd of filler hole and flooding tube, End result not enough air in and not enough fuel out. Tbue is 1/2" have two and never found one of them filled but still issue.

Question ios what size line needed. Pump is only 7 gpm and has 8AN outlet and inlet. So to my inderstand smallest hole is your biggest flow wise. I do have 1" fuel line ID. Mainly to have steady flow available at pump. Had more than one trying to tell me to 2 x 1/2" lines not enough in first place. Disagree but figure ask few others. I know funny car had two 8 lines and a 20 gpm pump. Maybe hard headed(ok not really question) But can not see anyway 2 8AN lines too small. Admit the filling is issue and need rerouting, but not size.
Opinions?

typically the vent should match the pump outlet, this gets debatable because of all the returns

thank you, president Trump

Kind of my point on 2 number 8 s vs 1 8 oultlet, On the return arguement, If they match and yo are returning half of pump(3 gpm to engine and 3.6 returns_ then 1 to 1 is bigger than need. Es[ecai;;y when mosst of returns in to main fuel line ahead of pump about 1.5'. I do not see to much vent hurting anything and hacving two to 1 means if one is stopped you should have enpough with second open.

I just can not see my setup if botrh open can in anyway be too small but then I can not get lottery right either.LOL

Hoping Dave will chime in. Heck I changed main line to bigger because of his telling me made pump feel bigger. I figure it is like big weater pumps in hospitals I use to balance. Less suvtion mean stronger discharge pressure meaning more flow.

I used a AN-8 to vent the cell, (originally it was a AN-6), but I then added a filter which I bought at a motorcycle shop to prevent anything foreign from possibly getting back into the cell. The fuel line from the cell to the filter to the regulator is a -10.
