Their blocks are the cast iron blocks that Brodix sells

Found this interesting! Thanks for sharing Racerv. But not a crate motor by any standards. Nice quality. Did you catch the hone finish?
So he ends up with the mule...think he hurt it on the free wind? Shake head

I think its cool to be honest. Actually i have not heard or read anything bad about them. I would probably buy if i was ever in need of a street motor.

I didn't watch the entire clip and didn't need to...

At the point where the block is going to get a ONE PASS line hone to size and it's in the machine..

You hear some kind of BINDING and the machine's mandrel slowed down...

The guy talking looks at the guy running the machine while he's talking and that guy hits the E-STOP on the machine....that would be E-STOP AS IN EMERGENCY.....LOL

They should have edited that out......I was done watching right there......

I did. Those engines are good for daily drivers and drive in heroes but, probably not us. Your engine builder and mine provide us with a better product. I'm not sure about the "one shot" line bore thing.

I didn't watch that closely good catch!!! Agreed E -Stop engagement is not "normal" process procedure and I would have definitely have removed that if it was my facility they were video taping.

Meh, it wasn’t a big deal. If you notice he didn’t run and hit it as fast as he could. It was probably something minor. They made that panel themselves so it may not have had a feed hold button.

I have found from running my shop that by the time you e-stop the damage is done so as long as no parts flew out there’s nothing to be too excited about. Just put a new tool in and go on usually.

Very cool share. At the start, with the rows and rows of blocks, it was like the Matrix a little in the battery area.
I think it’s great that some **** head CEO type has not exported this work off shore. Lots of good jobs. I know Dart also has a engine production line, but probably smaller and less diverse.

Visited with a guy at my local machine shop that has worked on a few. They're apparently cast with something very similar to OEM cast iron, not nearly the hardness of Dart or Bowtie blocks.

Organized people are just too lazy to look for their $h!t.

I'm betting most of the "one shot align hone" blocks end up over there with the guy running the manual line hone. Probably a one shot rough in.

Man they let him lug that 632 until I was reaching for the button myself!!!!
I'm wondering if that's why they decided to let him take that one. Laughing Hard

A guy I used to know tried putting one of their 632 BBC hydraulic roller engines to the test, Super Pro bracket racing, doorslammer.

China crank snout broke off balancer in tow. Experiment didn't last long, couple months.

China garbage.
