B KINGI thought about this thread today when assembling a return line. I have an old 90* Earls fitting I'm using under the trunk floor to connect to the bulkhead. It's red & blue, faded & scratched. It's functional, out of sight & has won plenty of races.
Maybe I should post a picture of the Rat fitting but wouldn't want anybody to get festered up about it.

B KINGHere you go Fester! The fitting is a Russel, not Earls as stated. All the rest of my fittings are black & made in the USA.

Curly1I did my new car all of the fittings and hose the Fragola Black FTPE. Teflon. Time will tell how long it lasts.

-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.
Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Is the assembly the same or more difficult than the standard braided line?
