I am looking for feedback from folks who run alternators.

Currently I have a 16 volt 50 amp alternator using a conventional small diameter pulley. I am interested in purchasing a 16 volt 100 amp alternator.

What have you folks found to be the most reliable 16 volt, 100 amp mini-alternator?

Bob

Consider looking at the Powermaster Catalog. Unlike others, Powermaster list alternator output ratings at idle (2200 -2400 alternator rpm speed) and actual dimensions of the alternator case.

100 amp alternators are maximum rated. The one on my race car will do that at idle.
