I am looking for feedback from folks who run alternators. Currently I have a 16 volt 50 amp alternator using a conventional small diameter pulley. I am interested in purchasing a 16 volt 100 amp alternator. What have you folks found to be the most reliable 16 volt, 100 amp mini-alternator? Bob

Consider looking at the Powermaster Catalog. Unlike others, Powermaster list alternator output ratings at idle (2200 -2400 alternator rpm speed) and actual dimensions of the alternator case. 100 amp alternators are maximum rated. The one on my race car will do that at idle. PowerMaster mem....i never charge battery at the track...... NEVER!!!
