S/C718What’s a good camshaft for a 622
I have a 622 big chief motor. What size of lift and duration is best for this type of motor. I am thinking of changing the camshaft. I want to hear what folks say before I change it. The one in it might be right but would like see.

AlaskaracerYou need to be a lot more specific. More details. Compression, carb size, intake, headers, rpm range, nitrous, force fed or no.....type of car, weight, gearing, trans, converter...
Asking for a cam for a 622 is like asking what your car will run and not telling us what it is.....

racerdude2054who built the motor? I would ask an engine expert after giving details of my combination instead of the guys on here. Reher Morrison or PAR would be my suggestions on who to ask

Curly1I would call the major cam companies especially Bullet and ask them a bunch of questions and really pay attention to the questions they ask you about your combination. Tell them what you want to achieve and best cam to get there.

MasRacingI have had very good luck with Bullet cams. As was stated above make sure you are prepared to give them as much information about your combination as possible. I also found that they were great to deal with on the phone as well.
