Looking for recommendations to someone who makes SBC diapers that will snugly fit a deep sump oil pan like a Moroso 21017 or Milodon 30908. DRE is no longer open. I already have a universal one that is excessively large.

If you look at DRE's site, it says closed due to Covid.

Hopefully Dennis will be OK soon and back to work.

Does the Pro1 have the horizontal adjustment strap at the back to tighten it around the sump? I have a DRE and was hoping he would be well and back in business soon.

I am sorry to hear that about DRE. I ordered mine for my 455 Olds earlier this year. I don't see anything about him retiring on the site?

Maybe fill out the order form and see if he calls?

A diaper or pan is something everyone gripes about until they test one. They are good for everyone at the track with the shorter cleanups and fewer cars sliding around after knocking out a rod. Sorry to hear about Dennis no longer in the business. Seemed like good products and a decent fella.

I agree with Bucky here.

A Diaper has saved many cars and possibly some lives from crashing due to oil and water under tires. I think it is one of most important safety items on a car and should be a strict requirement.

I have lost a motor in a door car at 140 MPH and it was a handful and it made a huge mess. That was around 2001? when Diapers were just coming out and stupid expensive. Now they are cheap and no excuse in my mind not to have one now.

If it has a roll bar it needs a diaper that simple, whine about it till you chuck a rod at 1000" and start looking for a new chassis. I smoked a motor at Pittsburgh at the stripe about 12 yrs ago coasted to the turn off and had a spot of oil about the size of a quarter on the ground, the diaper was full of 8qts of oil and alot of water, you make your own call...

Tough to argue with that sound logic.

^^^ X2

Also looking for Diaper recommendations for a BBC in a caged 68 Camaro. Good fit and relative ease in servicing the engine would be nice features.

Kevlar diaper or standard version? Sometimes a rod cap spits out during the burnout and only slows down when it goes through the diaper. My brother's sponsor now needs to help change his engine's diaper and clean up the engine's bottom.
